Professional Boards Forum

Founded in 2002  by Elin Hurvenes when the Norwegian Government demanded 40 % women directors on company boards through tough legislation.The Forum brings together CEOs, chairmen, selection committees and experienced business women in an innovative and challenging setting.Elin and UK Director Jane Scott are now launching this winning forumula in the UK.

 

Women in the City
Launched in 2003 Women in the City promotes, recognises and rewards professional female talent working in London’s business hubs.  Its Annual Celebration Lunch is motivating, inspirational, has what others describe as “that special atmosphere”.  Its highly regarded Awards Programme includes the Jaguar Woman of Achievement Award and the Barclays Wealth Future Leaders Award.  Women in the City publishes a regular ezine and glossy magazine, Cutting Edge.


Cranfield International Centre for Women Leaders

Committed to helping organisations to develop the next generation of leaders from the widest possible pool of talent, they are unique in focusing their research, management development and writing on gender diversity at leadership level. The Centre aims first to understand the issues facing senior women managers, and second the impact of organizational and personal factors on women's managerial careers. Their Female FTSE work is endorsed at the highest level of government.


Deutsche Bank Women in European Business

This is an annual conference organised by an Executive Committee of senior Deutsche Bank women. The aim of these volunteers is to create an independent forum where women can share their experiences and develop contacts to aid them in furthering their own careers.
The WEB conference attracts women from city financial institutions as well as many other corporations and organisations for an evening of networking, career development and celebration.

 

The Equality and Human Rights Commission

The independent advocate for equality and human rights in Britain. In order to bring about effective change, the Commission uses influence and authority to ensure that equality and human rights remain at the top of agendas for government and employers, media and society.
